  • Norfolk and Norwich Indian Society (NANIS) is a non-profit making voluntary run organisation.
  • NANIS website is maintained by Anil Thanki,  guided and instructed by the executive committee. Anil has no access to members personal database.
  • On becoming a member of NANIS we will collect your personal information. We will only use these data to communicate with you to inform you society’s activities, events and newsletters which will be of interest to you.
  • NANIS will not share or pass your data to any third parties.
  • NANIS will take photos at the events and may display these on the website as well as social media. If you do not wish your photograph displayed on our website please inform us in writing.
  • Further details or clarification can be obtained by writing to us.
  • Membership of the society runs from January to December. We will stop the communication on expiry of your membership.

About NANIS

Nanis is a Norfolk and Norwitch Indian Society. NANIS organises events and cultural activities of Indian tradition.

Bressingham steam engines and garden

The next group outing / picnic will be at: Bressingham Steam & Gardens

Cost: Each family to purchase their own tickets via the official Bressingham Website or on the day.

The day will be very relaxed and people can go around in groups or on their own at their own speed.

We hope to arrange a time to meet up somewhere for picnic on the day, so please bring food accordingly or their is a cafeteria and coffee shop onsite where food can be purchased.

This site has beautiful gardens with the garden railway running through it, giving passengers a clear view of the landscaped beds. A second railway loop runs through meadows along the Waveney Valley. The Gallopers or the merry go round is a must for both children and adults to enjoy.

The steam engine museum and Dad’s Army Collection of vintage vehicle warrants a visit too. Locomotives will be seen in steam throughout the museum site during your visit.

We hope to see you there for a fun filled family day out.
