Jai Shree Krishna 🙏
We pray that you are all safe and well and continue to follow the guidelines.
I would like to share some good news with all of you.
As you all know, this COVID-19 is still quite rife and affecting a lot of people. Our NHS is facing a huge challenge, the biggest challenge in the last 72 years. The staff on the front line in the fight against this deadly virus are going the extra mile every day to take care of us and our loved ones, despite being under tremendous pressure.
NHS staff need our support more than ever.
The Committee felt that this is the time to show our appreciation for what our Norfolk & Norwich Hospital is doing for us and our loved ones.
The N&N Hospitals Charity, with public support, can help hospital staff cope with the new challenges they are facing every single day.
So last week through virtual meeting with the Committee Members and blessings from our Trustees, the NANIS Committee decided to donate £2000 to the N&N Hospital Charity COVID 19 Emergency Appeal.
Five of our committee members also decided to contribute towards this worthwhile cause and donated £2550 collectively, which is really overwhelming.
Yesterday I went to the NNUH and presented a cheque for £4550 which was very warmly received by the Charity personnel there.
If any member wishes to donate towards this worthwhile cause then please get in touch with me and we can send the donation in collectively under NANIS banner or send it directly to N&N Hospitals Charity.
As a Committee, we are here to help wherever we can, so please do not hesitate to get in touch with myself or any of the Committee Members.
Please take care, stay home and help protect the NHS, your family, friends and yourself.

❤️Thank you so much to the Norfolk & Norwich Indian Society and Committee Members who donated £4,550 to our #covi̇d19 Emergency Appeal. Recently-retired @NNUH Radiographer Diki Raja handed over the cheque yesterday. 👏🙏 pic.twitter.com/dayuM8SGhq
